Eucalyptus eucentrica Water Mallee
A subspecies of E socialis.
Grows on limestone, mostly south of Alice Springs
Construction details:
Leaves and gumnuts - stitched with rayon thread
Stamens - polyester thread
Stems - nickel-chromium wire, wrapped with rayon thread
All hand dyed with fibre-reactive and disperse dyes
Length 16cm approximately
